Direttissima is an advanced hydraulic brake designed for riders who seek absolute precision and control in the most demanding conditions. Engineered for technical lines and steep descents, it delivers intuitive brake force modulation and an immediate system response.
Features:
Progressive braking performance – a special lever design (toggle joint linkage) increases braking force as lever pressure is applied more deeply.
Precise modulation – an excellent balance between braking power and control thanks to high system stiffness and minimal friction.
9 mm master cylinder – efficient transfer of pressure to the four caliper pistons.
4 pistons 14/17 mm – stainless steel construction ensures even operation and a consistent bite point.
Direct bite point – clear and immediate feedback when the pads contact the rotor.
High system stiffness – achieved through Kevlar hoses and CNC-machined 7075 aluminum components.
Composite master piston – reduced friction and smooth mechanism operation.
Consistent braking point – uniform piston return ensures repeatable performance.
Bearing-supported lever – increased precision and smooth action thanks to ball bearings.
Intuitive control – allows instinctive braking force adjustment in the most demanding sections.

What’s included
Not included
Heat Resistance – braking performance remains consistent even during long and demanding descents. High operational reliability results from comprehensive optimization of calipers, pads, and rotors in terms of heat absorption and efficient dissipation. Additionally, the use of hollow stainless steel pistons supports temperature management and system stability.
Modulation – precise control of braking force achieved through the synergy of multiple factors. Ergonomic and adjustable brake levers, high-quality brake fluid, and very tight manufacturing tolerances ensure smooth and predictable operation. The quality of pads and rotors, as well as advanced design solutions minimizing friction in moving components such as pistons and seals, are also crucial.
Braking Power – braking efficiency depends directly on hydraulic and mechanical ratios. The higher the ratio, the greater the generated braking force. Combined with high overall system stiffness, this ensures maximum efficiency even in extreme conditions.
Defined Pressure Point – a clearly defined, consistent, and firm contact point between pads and rotor allows for precise modulation and ensures predictable and reliable performance. High caliper stiffness and the use of high-pressure hoses guarantee immediate system response.
Threaded Fittings – all system components use durable, reusable threaded connections. They eliminate the need for olives and inserts and do not require specialized tools, significantly simplifying service and installation.
